The X4 Power Flash device backs up your factory PCM program during installation should you ever need to return your vehicle to the stock PCM program. Restoring your vehicle to the stock PCM program is as easy as selecting Return to Stock from the device menu.
Custom tune files are not transferable between different vehicles. If you change vehicles new files will need to be purchased and assembled for the new vehicle.

Great tuner, customer service and the exact tune I needed to get my project back on the road!
Only 4 stars I think, but just to prove that this is a real thread. The device by itself is perfect and worth having on to view AFRs and temps. The tunes that are worth are the 91 and 93/94. The car feel sluggish on 87 but it does provide a 0.5l/100km improvement. While with 91 is perfect for daily and compares to a stock Focus ST. With an exhaust, cold air intake, colder spark plugs, and a 93/94 tune, the car is to the level of a golf R and Focus Rs. Only thing is that the transmission bugs if you press the gas hard on uphills if you push the car for a long period (5-10 minutes). The engine can handle it, but the transmission not so much. Will soon install a transmission cooler, flush the tranny and put a racing transmission fluid to see if it will fix the issue.
The only reason Why I put 4 stars is due the fact that the car has a limiter at 185km/h and cannot be removed and that in sport mode when you change gears manually, it changes by itself sometimes and sometimes it does meaning it will readline and stay there (not consistent).
As for the tunes, you will make the car a sleeper.
Personally recommend a safe tune with whatever octane (probably towing), 91 for daily and 93/94 octane for racing.
I was going to buy a BDX but since I am going to be tuning an older car in the future, Torrie recommended the X4. It's a great unit. Works flawlessly and easy to read. As far as custom tunes go, Torrie is simply the best. By a long shot!
Got this tuner and 3 custom tunes, I'm now leaving v6 chargers and mustangs these tunes are great. Also if you tell Torrie what your wanting to do with your car you may find he has a special or the parts and kiss your already looking for.
I wanted to get everything I could out of my 2010 Sport Trac and the X4 made it happen. The throttle is more responsive, shifts are snappier, and it gets moving quicker all thanks to the X4 and the Unleashed custom tunes. Bonus...if I resist the temptation to keep the accelerator on the floor, my gas mileage actually is up a bit, too!

The tuner itself is great. The support is where the real value lies within. The speed at which Torrie responds to inquiries is astounding. Parts can only be returned within 30 days of purchase and must be accompanied by the original invoice. There is a 15% restocking fee on all returned parts and canceled orders that have been processed. No refunds on parts that have been Installed/used, Special order, Electrical parts, HPTuners credits, Custom vehicle calibrations or software. Freight charges are not refundable. No refunds after 30 days. We are not responsible for damage or loss in transit.
To initiate a return, a Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be requested within 30 days of receipt of the product. When shipping the return, this RA# must be clearly labeled on the package. Items returned without an RA# are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Canadian Orders are eligible for a return or exchange subject to the above conditions. Eligible returns and exchanges will not be refunded the cost of shipping on the original order. Duties and taxes paid on the original order must be must be refunded through the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA). 3. Clearly write and/or affix the RA# on the package and return to the address specified in the email.
4. Unless the return is due to manufacturer defect or Unleashed Tuning error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For your convenience, Unleashed Tuning offers discounted return shipping labels. Should you choose this option, the cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount.
5. The original method of payment used to place the order will be credited the purchase price, excluding return shipping costs. Unleashed Tuning will send a confirmation email once the refund has been issued. Please allow 5-7 business days for your bank to process the credit.
If you receive an item that is broken or defective, Unleashed Tuning will provide a prepaid return shipping label. To obtain the return shipping label, follow the above return procedure.

What should I do if I received the wrong item?
First, verify whether the item you ordered is the item you actually received. Simply compare the part number on the shipping receipt to the part number on your email order receipt.
If the numbers do not match, we may have shipped the wrong part number. Just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll process your return, exchange the item for the correct part (if available) and send you a prepaid UPS shipping label for your return item.
