17+ FORD FUSION SPORT/LINCOLN MKZ 3.0T FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER

Instantly noticed along with updated tune, much improved performance. A must have upgrade. as usual, Torrie and Leslie respond quickly with great service.

Showed up in a decent time. The card board was dented, after opening the box the intercooler was safely wrapped in enough protection it was unharmed. Fits on fusion sport with adaptive cruise control very tight. Cut a bit of plastic behind the intercooler so it would mount flush as it sits lower. Also to put the black plastic under the car back on needed to put all the 7mm bolts in then stagger the install of the 10mm. Installed and tuned at the same time based on all other reviews and Torrie never said anything about high temps.

A must have if you tune your car!! Prevents power loss from heat soak, made a huge difference on my MKZ combined with a tune. Worth every dollar!

Ordered this to install on my 2017 Fusion Sport. Ordered and delivered within 3 days. My car has the 401A package with the Adaptive Cruise Control module. My mechanic installed with no issues. Fit like a glove. Paired with Mr. Torrie's 93 Octane tune and a BBK 65mm TB. Wow! I am a very happy man.

At first I was a little skeptical spending this much money on a single mod. But this is by far the best mod I have installed on my FS! And I got a tune from Torrie that was included in the price of the intercooler. What a huge difference. It pulls so hard and doesn't stop until you let off the gas!

While working with Torrie on the tuning for my upgraded HPFP,  he indicated that my charge temps(180F) were really high and could make the computer pull power.  He suggested and intercooler or water meth to help with this.  I chose to go the intercooler route first since the stock one is pretty thin and not up to the task of cooling the increased boost. The intercooler arrived a week earlier than I expected so that was a bonus.  It looks very well made and makes the stock one look like a toy.   I got it out last night after installing it and made some test runs.  Overall my charge temps are lower just driving around.  Most importantly my charge temps are roughly 40-50 degrees cooler at the end of a WOT run which is a big difference.  I could tell right away the car was pulling harder and liking the cooler air.
