SCT X4 Power Flash Programmer

I ordered this tuner with a custom tune about 3 weeks ago and it was probably the best thing I have ever purchased. The power difference is completely different to anything I have ever experienced. On top of that Torrie was great with answering any questions I had and got my custom tune to me the same day I received my tuner. Big noticeable difference between the custom tune and the pre loaded one as well but that will depend on what modifications you have made to your car. I had a real problem with a competitor's programmer and was leery of getting into another flash tuner and more possible problems. I asked around and the same name came up every time - Unleashed Tuning and Torrie McPhail. I called Torrie and asked his advice on what I should use for my 2013 Ford Flex EB Limited. I had done some mods and had more to do so he recommended the SCT X4 flash programmer for Fords. After I cleared away the rubble that was the previous programmer, I bought the X4 with a custom tune. I got everything in on time and asked Unleashed a few questions that they answered promptly. Torrie emailed me a custom tune for my Flex and I had it loaded an running in about 30 minutes. I like the interface of the programmer and it's easy to read screen. Could not be happier with the custom tune in the Flex. I was so happy I bought another SCT 4X for my hapless 2010 F150 with a slug 4.6 2 valve. The custom tune woke this up - making it a much more enjoyable drive. I appreciate the quick service from Unleashed. They always got back to me right away. Could not be more satisfied.

Another great job with excellent job by Torrie.... 10 stars and excellent customer service. After all the mods he suggested he took my taurus sho to a new level.

Tuner was easy to update and the software was super easy to use. Very glad I went this route! And the tune! My SHO is like a different car!

My review is more for the tuning than the product. Though the product works exactly as I'd think it should and is user friendly. Inistalled the economy tune on my 2015 F-150 before an 1800 mile trip. Got a solid 1mpg increase. Not sure if I'd say there was more power but this is the generic tune and I haven't sent any logs to Torrie for updates. I can only imagine it will only get better.

This is the first time ever adding a tune to a car and the X4 has a lot of great features. I own a 2015 Focus ST with upgraded intercooler, charge pipes, intake system, and a downpipe and this tune just woke it up like you wouldn't believe! I didn't think my smile could get any bigger driving this fun car, but I giggle now :) Thanks Torrie for the tune and SUPER fast shipping! The X4 allows you to store multiple tunes, easily upload to your car with customizations, view gauges, and also data log. The only thing I wished it could do is store multiple data log files on the device, but doing it with a laptop in the passenger seat was easy even for a noob like me. Thanks Unleashed for the device and an awesome tune to bring my baby to life!

Stock non-pp mustang with drop-in KN filter and NGK plugs. Night and day difference with the Unleashed tune on my 2016 Mustang ecoboost! Torrie is great to work with and I'm very happy with the results.

I'm extremely happy with my X4 and tune from Torrie. Service was prompt and shipping was fast. The SCT software could be better but it works. The two included tunes work flawlessly. My Ford Escape has the 1.6 turbo and it was adequate but a little low on power at times. Now it is 10 times more fun to drive and gets up to speed no problem. I actually find myself having to be lighter on the throttle so I don't speed!

AFTER SOME RESEARCH I WAS TOLD THAT UNLEASHED WAS THE WAY TO GO. I EMAILED BACK AND FORTH WITH TORRIE ON TUNES TO DECIDE WHICH ONES I WANTED AND WENT WITH THE SCT X4. I WILL SAY THAT IF YOUR BATTERY IS WEAK, YOU WILL RUN INTO ISSUES WITH THE PROGRAMMER SAVING THE STOCK SETTINGS AND PROGRAMMING THE NEW TUNES BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF BATTERY, SINCE THIS IS ALL DONE WITH THE MOTOR OFF BUT, KEY ON. BESIDES THAT THE PROCESS WAS SIMPLE AND FAIRLY QUICK. TORRIE THOUGH SHORT ON WORDS, IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND QUICK TO ACCOMMODATE ANY NEEDS. EVEN AFTER WANTING A LITTLE SOMETHING MORE FROM ONE OF THE PROGRAMS, TORRIE HAD A NEW PROGRAM SENT WITHIN 15 MINUTES. I WOULD RECOMMEND FAMILY, FRIENDS OR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD PROGRAMMER AND TUNES TO UNLEASHED TUNING ANYTIME.
