Well yesterday I tried to instruct ‘Fay’ to go away from us and it appears she is going to continue on the path of the polar opposite. One day maybe I might learn that when I stand outside and look up to the sky and try to tell it what to do it just doesn’t quite accomplish anything. Good ole mother nature does what she wants regardless. But the important thing is that the GT is safe and dry locked up in our garage.

Well an A-side to living in the beautiful ‘Sunshine State’ is having to live with fun weather events like Hurricanes and Tropical Storms. Good times indeed. So far so good for all of us right now hunkering down in Northeast Florida. Not much wind or rain right now but I imagine that should start to change soon enough. So what does this have to do with out project GT you ask ? Well its completely bungling up our plans at the moment but fear not we will get done what we need to pre-Rally 3 !!

Ah Finally we have achieved the proper fender gap we have been seeking on our GT. We just installed the T&A Adjustable spring seat lowering kit. We dropped the front and inch and the rear a half inch. It’s pretty unanimous everyone loves how it turned and we are most definitely pleased ! She will be hitting the alignment rack next and set up to the following specs :
Camber in the front –1.10 deg. + or – 0.10 deg.

Toe in front (positive is toe in) -0.05 deg. Total + or – 0.05 deg.

Camber in the Rear -2.20 deg. + or – 0.10 deg.

Toe in Rear (positive is toe in) 0.12 deg. Total + or 0.025 deg.

This modification just made its way to us the other day Courtesy of our good friend Bill aka Shadowman from Discovery automotive. The install was quick and painless plus it really helps break up a lot of the solid black of the interior. Also it totally jives with the Black and Silver theme we have going on woohoo.

All of us here at Unleashed Tuning are excited about the upcoming Ford GT Rally 3 in Vegas September 10-13, 2008. We are currently prepping our Twin Turbo Ford GT for this event right now. Not only are we going to have our research and development TTGT there if all of our hard work goes as planned we should have a few new goody or two to show off to everyone while we are out west. And the best part about it is that I am going to drive cross country in our TTGT from FL to NV back to FL. Th trip will be a whole separate adventure in itself that is for sure.

First thing to do was for us to get a plate to match the stature of our GT so we found this one fitting. Step 2 is in process right now with more information to come within the next day or two. Stay tuned !
